Virus Scanning & RCS

A number of our engineers use RCS to store documentation (MS Word and Excel
files).  Since these types of files are susceptible to viruses, we'd like to
scan the content of their RCS repository to ensure it does not contain any
infected files.


Does anyone have any guidance on how this should be done?  Can we just scan
the RCS repository as if it's a just a regular directory tree?
