Any of these issues can be solved by configurable shortcuts.
Meanwhile, with no graphical editor, couldn't the shortcuts
(keycodes) be read from a config file that is tweakable by users ?
But if not, anyway, let's close the 'pandora box' there are other
things to spent time on, namely python.
