I don't understand your question.  Please give an example what you
need.  You should download the ft2demos package also which contains
some examples how to use FreeType.

FreeType's term `encoding' simply means a name tag for an `FT_CharMap'
object.  So this is neither a `character encoding' nor a `character
set'.
