[Freetype] installation on Redhat 6.x:documentation suggestion

I had trouble installing freetype 2.0.1 on my linux redhat 6.0 until I
upgraded from gnu make 3.78 to 3.79.  (The configuration was erroring-out on
the $wildcard instruction used to search for modules.)

Adding a comment that an upgrade is needed and that gnu make 3.78 is *not*
sufficient would be great.
