Hi,
I don't know if this question is "on-topic" for this mailing list, but
maybe somebody knows the answer.
I have a DVD burned from Windows (i don't know the program) with a file
larger than 2 GB (i know because my friend has told me, and he has lend
this DVD to other persons, etc.) but i only can read the first 2 GB
-r-xr-xr-x 1 root root 2147483647 2004-09-11 21:38 bla bla bla
the number of bytes it is 2^31-1 number
If i cp the file to my hard disk, i only copy the first 2 GB, if i
execute dd from /dev/dvd to my disc i can read 3 GB (off course, if i
mount this image then i only can access the first 2 GB)
I know (at least, my opinion) that it is some problem with my Kernel, it
is 2.6.9 Kernel, not with dvdrtools (off course!) but maybe somebody
knows something about this problem.
I have search in internet and i have read something like try to split
the file, i would split the file, but the file is in the DVD
Thank you very much!
