I'm working on the Java compiler for DotGNU which will in time support
all the Java language features (though the library is a big question mark).
I might be able to recompile classpath with my compiler at a future date.

I'll show up with the code when my college allows me to go public as 
well as accept contributions. But it's being built and the parser stages
are almost complete.

Not always ... :-( ... for example stuff involving delegates or attributes
or other C# specific features might be directly out of reach. But as pure
OO API , the concept works ...
