s390 now also works, including the compiler and building pnetlib (thanks to 
IBM's Linux/s390 test systems).  A couple of test breakages in System.Net 
that I'll look into, but everything else looks happy.

The current architecture score card leading up to 0.5.2 is:

i386 - everything working
ia86 - ilrun working, cscc broken
alpha - ilrun working, cscc broken
s390 - ilrun working, cscc working, pnetlib test failures
ppc - ???
arm - ???
sparc - ???

Hopefully the libffi "make clean" fix will get rid of the problems with ppc.  
The broken cscc issue seems to be a generic 64-bit problem: I haven't seen it 
happen on 32-bit systems so far.  Once I can track it down, it should be easy 
to fix.

"Portable".NET is becoming more so hour by hour ...
