Luckily I spotted this before release (did a clean build on a clean machine).
My makefile uses address@hidden@/lib/pnet to find things like libgc, so I don't 
know why that is causing problems - unless --with-pnet= was set incorrectly.

What's wrong I think with the Makefile is that it doesn't do a 
address@hidden@/lib on its own in addition to ...../lib/pnet.

I'll fix that and update cvs.
