[Alsa-xmms-user] compile problems |

I compiled and installed the alsa-driver.0.9.3a, alsa-lib.0.9.3, and
alsa-util.0.9.3 without a hitch, and the modules are loaded. I have a RH 8
machine with kernel 2.4.20-13.8 and am using the emu10k1 sound module.
However, when I attempt to compile alsa-xmms.0.9.3, I receive the following
error:
/*[a bunch of warnings]*/
make[1]: *** [also.lo] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/tmp/alsa-xmms.0.9.3/src'
make: [all-recursive] Error 1
I have no idea what I am doing wrong. The only instructions I have found
simply read to enter the alsa-xmms.0.9.3 directory, type './configure' then
'make install' (though I did try just 'make' as well) and I always receive this
error. I also tried the same thing on my laptop running RH 8 kernel
2.4.20-13.8 which has the Intel8x0 sound module and get the same error.
Anyone??
