Stefan Kittel created an issue: https://gitlab.com/gnuwget/wget2/-/issues/526 Hello, i've just grabbed an webpage with wget 1.99 on Ubuntu 18 LTS. If the url with get-parameter is longer than 255 chars the file is not created. But the log does not show any error or warning. The software should shorten the filename.
