Hello,

Daniel Veillard tells me that you are now going to be a maintainer of rpm2html. How do you want to receive bug reports - bugzilla somewhere, or by email?

Anyway, there are tree issues with the rpm2html 1.8.2 that I wanted to communicate:

- It calls itself 1.8.1 instead of 1.8.2 - see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=113750

- The limit on the length of version and release "numbers" is too low - see https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla/show_bug.cgi?id=113753

- rpm2html segfaults on 8.0 (with rpm 4.1.1. from Fedora Legacy) when it is compiled certain way (e.g. changes to the default spec file are required to solve these prolems) - see https://bugzilla.fedora.us/show_bug.cgi?id=38

And thank you for taking on the maintainership!

well, I am maintainig it (at least I still think I am while I'm using it and making some patches :) but you see: not very quickly. :/

Please, if it is not alredy too late, test release 1.9.1 (see http://savannah.nongnu.org/download/rpm2html/) and tell me what's left to fix. IMO the issue #1 you reported is fixed. Issue #2 should be fixed and issue #3 ... as I look at Bugzilla entry, it should be fixed (i.e. rpm2html works with newer RPM libraries).

Thank you in advance.

Sincerely

Peter
