In the meantime, adding include('../etemplate/inc/get_var.php'); to 
/home/htdocs/phpgroupware/notes/inc/ makes it work

In the meantime, adding include('../etemplate/inc/get_var.php'); to 
/home/htdocs/phpgroupware/notes/inc/ makes it work

This is because your version 0.9.14.xxx does not have the get_var() function 
and the hook does not load the replacement from etemplate. This will be solved 
with the upcomming .16 release, which includes some new stuff from the HEAD API.
