I am pleased to announce the release of the lzip patch for kmod-29.

This patch adds lzip decompression support to kmod.

The patched kmod requires lzlib to compile:
http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzlib.html

You may also need to pass the following options to configure:
  ./configure --with-lzlib lzlib_LIBS=-llz lzlib_CFLAGS=-llz

The patch can be downloaded from
http://download.savannah.gnu.org/releases/lzip/kernel/kmod-29_lzip-0.diff.lz

The sha256sum is:
44c27051d0e1bfb60a0c80867c02dbb8ac8bb815cbfda30d782abd7334c7f9e5 kmod-29_lzip-0.diff.lz

Please, test it and report any bugs you find.

Regards,
Antonio Diaz, lzip author and maintainer.
