Lzip is a lossless data compressor based on the LZMA algorithm, with very safe integrity checking and a user interface similar to the one of gzip or bzip2.

The homepage is at http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/lzip.html.

Changes in this version:

* Lzdiff and lzgrep have been renamed to zdiff and zgrep and moved to the new package zutils[1].

* Some compilation warnings on sistems where uint32_t != unsigned int have been fixed.

[1] http://www.nongnu.org/lzip/zutils.html
Zutils is a collection of utilities for dealing with any combination of compressed and non-compressed files transparently. The supported compressors are gzip, bzip2 and lzip. The currently provided utilities are zcat, zcmp, zdiff and zgrep.

Regards,
Antonio Diaz, lzip author and maintainer.
