I decided to install linphone-common_3.0.0-2_all.deb after
uninstalling v2.1.1.

This appeared to be successful, but I can not find out how to start
Linphone. How do I start Linphone?

Is it necessary to install other programs?

Hi,

I have downloaded from
from mirror at /debian/pool/main/l/linphone/
the following files:
<DIR> LINphone
29'266 liblinphone-dev_3.0.0-1_i386.deb
29'330 liblinphone-dev_3.0.0-2_i386.deb
56'220 linphone_3.0.0-1_i386.deb
56'276 linphone_3.0.0-2_i386.deb
67'764 libortp8_3.0.0-1_i386.deb
67'824 libortp8_3.0.0-2_i386.deb
74'936 liblinphone3_3.0.0-1_i386.deb
74'988 liblinphone3_3.0.0-2_i386.deb
5'995'844 linphone-common_3.0.0-1_all.deb
5'995'866 linphone-common_3.0.0-2_all.deb
7'577'336 linphone_3.0.0.orig.tar.gz

Do the -1 and -2 refer to two different versions -
the -2 being newer?

Which do I have to install
linphone-common_3.0.0-1_all.deb ?
or
linphone-common_3.0.0-2_all.deb ?

Can I ignore the other, smaller files ?

Regards, Earl
