Hi,

the number after '-' is a packaging release number, ie changes relative to 
debian packaging or small patches added by debian maintainers, but not 
related to author's version.
-2 is newer of course.
This is good new that debian guys decided to update linphone in their distrib. 
The 2.x version that is currently in debian is definetely too old.
