AFAIK, it's slated for removal in KDE 4.

Also, I got gnomemeeting working with ALSA + DMIX + DSNOOP + ASYM
and other apps at the same time, so it's possible. I think what
needs to happen is we need to be able to select a different mixer
device in linphone. Currently it autodetects, and chooses the
wrong one.
