Hi,

So I tried the last linphone tarball (linphone-0.9.0 + libosip-0.8.8) and
launched linphone with the daemon option (i newbie to
daemon). To end the daemon process, i just killed the process.

Then after launching linphone from a terminal, i get the following message
:

address@hidden mob]$ linphone
| INFO1 | <osipua.c: 59> Starting osip stack and osipua layer.

MediaStreamer-Message: Detected /dev/dsp -
MediaStreamer-Message: Detected /dev/dsp0 -
MediaStreamer-Message: Detected /dev/dsp1 -
MediaStreamer-Message: Detected /dev/dsp2 -
It seems linphone is already running as a daemon (pid=2108). I will wake
up it...

__________

and nothing more happen as the pid=2108 process no more exist. Did i stop
the daemons in a not properly way ?
