Hi,

if you don't insist on Liberty Eiffel specifically, regarding MS Windows support you may be better off in the other corner of the Eiffel community (with its own mailing list eiffel-users@googlegroups.com).

There is

EiffelStudio https://sourceforge.net/projects/eiffelstudio/files/EiffelStudio%2019.05/Build_103187/ (both compiler and IDE included - the IDE runs smoothly even on my 10+ years old laptop, so hopefully it will be lightweight enough for your purposes as well)

Gobo Eiffel https://sourceforge.net/projects/gobo-eiffel/files/gobo-eiffel/22.01/ (compiler only)

For VS Code there is at least an extension https://github.com/robertfiko/eiffel_vscode providing Eiffel syntax highlighting - get the code and copy the directory to your extensions folder https://vscode-docs.readthedocs.io/en/stable/extensions/install-extension/
