[Laptopkernel-devel] bootsplash patch + TODO + user space

howdy folks...

i just put up a patch against laptopkernel-2.4.21-rc8 (applied to 2.4.21) which 
makes bootsplash available:

for the patch and some comments.

then i have yet another wish: it would be great if you would post a TODO
list in your announcement when you release a new version of the
laptopkernel.
and it would also be great if you would add something like "user space
tools required" for patches that require tools for user space.
