We are pleased to announce the release of version 5.6.1 of GNU MCSim.

MCSim is a simulation package which allows you to design your own
model (eventually dynamic, via ODEs) and to perform sensitivity and
uncertainty analyses through Monte Carlo stochastic simulations, or
Bayesian inference or optimal design through Markov Chain Monte
Carlo simulations. GNU MCSim can read models written in SBML.

Version 5.6.1 fixes a bug in the MCMC proposal kernel weighting. That
bug had a minor impact on posterior sampling in case of uniform prior
distributions in the absence of informative data, but still...

MCSim is GNU software. You can redistribute it and/or modify it under
the terms of the GNU General Public License as published by the Free
Software Foundation; either version 3 of the License, or (at your
option) any later version.
