On this page http://octave.sourceforge.net/doc/plot.html under polar we see Make a two-dimensional plot given polar the coordinates THETA and RHO. It should be Make a two-dimensional plot given the polar coordinates THETA and RHO. the words "polar the" are reversed. doug
