please help

hi 

i'd like to install octave and gnuplot on my mac but i found so many problems!!
i'm not very good with this thing but i'd like to improve.
i found some information here http://wiki.octave.org/wiki.pl?OctaveForMac but 
for the moment i can't plot anything!! even if i can do some operetion.

this is what is written on the terminal opening gnuplot:
