Examples in manual don't work; Can anyone use octave 2.9.9 and save plots to files (and how?) |

gset term -> syntax error
2.9.9 manual says
gset term
will give a list of supported term types.
in my installation in Fedora core 5, I get
octave:1> gset term
parse error:
syntax error
> > > gset term
^
octave:1> gset output "foo.ps"
parse error:
syntax error
> > > gset output "foo.ps"
^
it appears that output and term are no longer
variables recognized by gset.
Please help!
