Thanks for all your work John,
I only searched this list before posting, so I did not see your patch.
In the meantime I have built the cvs version of octave and I can load the
MatLab files I was having trouble with in the other thread.
So all my issues are resolved. I will keep a cvs and a stable version
around. Thanks for all the excellent work.
