If you are running X windows, can't you just open two terminal
emulators, start Octave in each one, then run `f (input1)' in the
first terminal and `f (input2)' in the second?
Right now, I have five shells running five different instances of
Octave.
yeah, i can do that, but i would like to run many more than 5 instances.
more in the range of ~100 instances. the cluster i will be using has
~512 double nodes.
thanks anyway,
g.
