Re: Path?/dispatch error on starting Octave but path works

The dispatch warnings you are getting are harmless.  You should
be able to get rid of them by putting the following file in your octave
path at .../2.1.46/site/m/dispatch.m:

        function dispatch(name,to,given), end

To figure out what ... is, start octave and type

        path

This will give a list of directories on your path, one of which ends in
2.1.46/site/m//.
