emacs octave support

After stumbling around for several hours in the emacs documentation, I still can't figure out how to do what I want, which is ...

To make the emacs editing environment for Octave as much as possible like the Matlab editor with which I am familiar, starting with making comment lines show up as green rather red, making "if" "for" and "end" statements blue rather than purple, etc.

Cheers,
