compiling latest cvs on FC1

What is FC1?  What compiler are you using?  What configure options?
etc., etc.

If you expect people to help you, you have to make it possible for
them to do so.

If you think you've found a bug in Octave, please submit a complete
bug report to the bug-octave mailing list.  If you are not sure what
to include in a report so that it is useful, please read
http://www.octave.org/bugs.html before sending your report.
