"Watts" is NOT energy, it is energy (Joules) per second. So 
you need a time inerval. Then you need the so called heat 
capacity of the structure you are considering. 
(Joules/degree) Estimate that from volumes and  densities 
using tables to get Joules/degree.

BTW It might be better to buy a good book on thermodynamics 
than ask this question to an Octave list.
