It's actually in texinfo (.texi) format, with some additional macros to allow for common documentation in m-files and the documentation. These latter files have the extension .txi. All are in the doc subdirectory of the Octave distribution.

Hi,
I wonder where the octave latex source of the manual is.
I looked into the sources of 2.0.31 and didn't find them.
Is the latex docu also part of the CVS tree?
Can I also submit documentation changes along with
code/toolbox changes/enhancements?

Thanks daniel
