Re: Matlab File Format

This is a question that's gets asked a lot.  MathWorks made their data
format proprietary in version 5.0.  This is their attempt to get rid of
Octave and other such things.  Matlab 5.0 can still save in version 4.0
format and that is the preferred way to get data between the two.
