I don't think this should be happening. Perhaps it is a bug that was
introduced by the person who did the OS/2 port? Unfortunately, I have
not been able to reach him via email recently. I don't have access to
any OS/2 systems, so I can't rebuild the binaries for OS/2.

I took a quick look at the source file for the OS/2 port but couldn't
find any obvious place where such a message is printed. Sorry.

BTW, it would be useful for someone to take over the OS/2 port of
Octave and to help me merge any changes that are actually necessary
back in to the main Octave source tree. Klaus seemed to think it was
OK for the sources to diverge and to add all sorts of special things
for OS/2 (he kept trying to claim that the changes were necessary, but
not all of them appear so to me) and then was reluctant to even report
that he was making changes.

| or work-around for this?

Can you please submit a complete bug report for this problem to the
bug-octave mailing list? Please include enough information to allow
someone to reproduce the problem.

Thanks,
