Hello.

I am trying to compile octave 2.1.7 on Solaris x86, still with no success.
I have tried *a lot* of configurations (with gcc 2.7.2, 2.8.1, lig++, libstc++,
g77, f77, etc...)

First a hint for other users, if I use make-3.77, nothing is compiled in
libcruft
(not even a single call to the fortran compiler). With an older version of
make, it
works.

Anyway, I digress. I am up to the point that everything is compiled without
problem,
[using gcc-2.8.1, libstc++-2.8.1, make-3.74.x, SUNWspro f77, and other latest
gnutools]
but the final link failed with these errors :

If this error sounds familiar to you, please contact me by email !
If wanted, I can make a binary-distribution of it.
