Development donations

Hurd hackers,

   I'm wanting to make a small (monetary) donation to support
the development of the Hurd, and I was wondering what the
subscribers to help-hurd thought was the best method (and I'm
aware that hackers are needed more than dollars).  Several
months ago I made a donation to the FSF and asked that they
use it for the Hurd.  Is there a better, more appropriate
way?  Is there a way to target the money for a more specific
purpose (i.e. towards a >1.5GB ext2 translator or for the L4
effort, or maybe porting over Mozilla)?
