I've changed my grub entry for GNU OS, set the ownership of the filesystem to 
hurd
checked that in /boot no serverboot.gz exists (only serverboot) but after a few 
initialization
step the gnu kernel goes in idle state forever (more than 5 minutes) until i 
key press occour.
At such point the famous kernel panic fall down....

P.S> I'm trying to use GNU OS inside a VMWare virtual machine. Could it be 
relevant?
