Well,

supposing that an user inserts:

(1+(8^(0.5)))

I'd like to give him the answer.

So the first thing I must do is to pase the expression and the I think I should 
traverse the expression and then apply the gsl function to give him the result.

How can I do this?

For example the user can insert complex number .....
