No, that is not true.

You can check the interface at http://medgift.unige.ch/ and change the configuration in the interface.

If you use separate normalization of the four feature groups each of the groups can be blocked separately via MRML and thus via the interface.

... but there is no way to block feature groups dynamically using the
Perl interface. It can only be done via the config file with that interface.
