Hi,

the files are actually both the same and they do not contain any indexed 
image collection.
Please call gift-add-collection with the parametre --help to see how you 
can index a database of images.
This can be a simple directory full of images (jpg, for example)

It does not make any sense to start the server without a collection 
being indexed.

Once a collection is indexed, you can start the server without any 
problems. Then, you need to use one of the user interfaces to make 
queries on the started server.
