As maintainer it's my job to have some time for that...
More specifically: currently I am lacking disk space for getting myself a
complete new gcc installation. Secondly, the last bug report I got was about
something failing in "#include <string>". The string classes of the gcc are
out of my scope.
If you have some other places where it fails, please take the time to send
them to bug-gift, and I will try to fix it in CVS. Have you looked at the
anonymous CVS of the gift? It's quite simple to handle, and using it you
always have the freshest version.
