If I run a shell in Emacs, the issued command is duplicated. I would
like to avoid this if possible. For example:
c:\>gcc
*gcc
gcc: fatal error: no input files
compilation terminated.

c:\>
I am talking about the star-marked file in my example.

I think you want to customize the variable comint-process-echoes to a
non-nil value.
