Nothing concrete yet. Like, removing the advertising of the gh
interface (it's lower case now), and providing a more gentle
introduction to the scm interface. Saying upfront that you have to
understand the tag magic if Guile is not the best way to start (since
it shouldn't be true). Then, adding stuff from the old manual that
talks about the GC, and what you need to do to go along with it, etc.

Yes, I'm going to wait until 1.6.0 as well, in any case. And I would
have contacted you first. :-) DO you have a summary about what we
agreed upon?
