Well, 'bootstrap' is only needed if/when building from Subversion. Once
there is a release, this is no longer required.

It should work on all of them, even though I don't know what "sh" is and
we've never had a "mips" or "alpha". We do test on amd, arm, ppc, sparc
and x86 (32 and 64-bit).
