That probably means that configure did not detect gdbm. Make sure that gdbm 
(and the header file gdbm.h) are installed and re-run configure. Note that 
you have the choice between gdbm, tdb, bdb, mysql and plain directories, and 
that gdbm is just the default in the configuration file "gnunet.conf".
