That's still open for debate, both on the technical and the legal side. 
a) is it possible to support both? (your gcry_mpi_print gives size 3 problem
    gives me the first headache with respect to that)
b) is it a good idea?

I would like to see a) answered before b), but there is of course the very 
first c) implement support for libgcrypt to make it run at all -- which is 
the biggest problem at the moment :-)
