Hi Al.
Please consider the install branch with your next push. The DESTDIR
variable facilitates the creation of binary packages from staged
installations.
$ make install DESTDIR=/tmp/stage/
$ cd /tmp/stage
$ tar -cjf ../gnucap-models.tbz2 *
... Similar in gnucap/Make3.
