This is caused by lack of KDE4/QT4 dev packages.  Either add to the
configure "--enable-gui=gtk,kde3" (I pass this option to the configure
script as is when I build gnash myself; some adjustment may be needed
for builder/packaging), or better still, install the dev packages and
build for kde4 as well, which is in the repos.  For me, either approach
is fine, as I use kde3.
