Allow me to add here that with kernel 2.6.33.2-libre-lemote /proc/apm is no longer available

The following command would show the battery status:

#cat /sys/class/power_supply/yeeloong-bat/status

Del

Cato,

With 2.6.32 kernel on YeeLoong this should show you battery power remaining:

#cat /proc/apm

Hi,

Is there any way to check the battery status of the YeeLoong in
gNewSense with Terminal? As far as I can see, acpi is not installed
but GNOME can still find out the battery status.

I am wondering because i run dwm and currently have no way (that I am
aware of) to check how much battery I have left :(
