Well man, I'm against copyright and patents at all.
For freedom, it necesary to have GPL. For GPL, it is necesary to have copyright. If there was no copyright, GPL would not be necesary. Nevertheless, to avoid tivolization, GPL helps avoid copylefted free software become non-free. A copyright law that would guarantee that and make everything copyleft would be best.
