I have the same card and until gNS appeared I had never supposed that
its driver requires non-free firmware. It really does, so this driver
is removed.
I have therefore put the card in the closet in the hope that some day
it'll work. If sound is a must for you, there are very cheap
soundcards that do the generic noise job quite well.
